What You Will Need
Before you start, confirm you have the correct components and tools.
Hardware
- Salice Progressa runners, right and left
- Salice front locking devices
- Mounting screws
- Optional tilt adjustment levers or push synchronizer if used
Tools
- Drill and drill bits
- Measuring tape
- Square
- Pencil
- Screwdriver or driver bit
Step 1: Confirm Drawer and Cabinet Dimensions
Salice Progressa runners are designed for specific drawer side thicknesses and cabinet depths.
- Drawer side thickness options: 13 to 16 mm or 18 to 19 mm
- Runner lengths range from 250 mm to 750 mm
- External drawer depth is 10 mm shorter than runner length
- Internal drawer width must be reduced based on drawer material thickness
Double check measurements before drilling. Accurate sizing prevents alignment issues later.
Step 2: Install the Runners on the Cabinet Sides
Mount each runner flush to the cabinet side using at least four screws per runner.
Key placement notes:
- Standard inset position is 38 mm from the cabinet front
- If installing runners before cabinet assembly, increase inset to 39 mm
- Oval mounting slots allow for height and depth fine tuning
Make sure both runners are level and aligned at the same height on each cabinet side.

Step 3: Prepare the Drawer Box
The drawer box requires rear notches to accept the Progressa hooks.
- Three sided drawers require a minimum 50 mm rear notch
- Four sided drawers require a minimum 76 mm rear notch
- Use a drilling template if available for consistent results
If your drawer has sub fronts between 12 and 13 mm, install the Salice spacer before mounting the locking devices.
Step 4: Install Front Locking Devices
Front locking devices secure the drawer to the runners and provide adjustment.
Options include:
- Side and depth adjustable clips
- Front and side fixing clips
Mount the clips to the drawer bottom using recommended screws. Pre drilling helps prevent splitting and ensures accurate alignment.
Once installed, slide the drawer onto the runners until the clips engage.

Step 5: Insert the Drawer
Align the drawer with the runners and slide it fully into the cabinet.
You should hear or feel the locking devices engage. Gently pull the drawer out to confirm it is secure.
To remove the drawer later, press the release levers located underneath the front of the drawer and pull forward.
Step 6: Make Final Adjustments
Salice Progressa slides offer tool free adjustments for a perfect fit.
Side Adjustment
- Rotate the white wheel
- Range: plus or minus 1.5 mm
Depth Adjustment
- Rotate the depth wheel
- Range: plus or minus 3 mm
Height Adjustment
- Push the lever inward
- Range: up to 2.5 mm
Optional Tilt Adjustment
- Install tilt levers at the drawer back
- Allows up to 3 mm of rear height correction
Adjust both sides evenly to maintain smooth operation.
Step 7: Test Operation
Open and close the drawer several times.
Check for:
- Smooth, silent movement
- Full extension
- Proper soft close or push activation
- Even reveal gaps
Make final micro adjustments as needed.
